Lance Brigs

I say the jets trade the 25 overall pick and Victor Hobson and if they have to a 3rd or 4th rounder to the bears for Lance

Re: Lance Brigs

I don't think that will be enough. Unless they take the franchise tag off (can they do that?), they have to get two first round picks for him.

Of course with Briggs saying he won't play for them, I guess anything can happen. But I'm sure better deals would be out there than Hobson/25th overall and a 2nd day pick.

Re: Lance Brigs

Would you give up such high draft picks (and a starting player) for Briggs? Or would you want to use all your picks on establishing a series of solid players (especially when the 3-4 system has to be gelled in)?

You also have to look at the Mangini/Tenanbaum history and is it like them to deal the house for a player.

Re: Lance Brigs

also you aren't gonna get anyone with the 25 pick that's gonna be as good as him right away and he would probably be only 4 years older than someone in the draft
