Chad Pennington has been named the NFL's Comeback Player of the Year after recovering from two rotator cuff injuries over the past two seasons to lead the Jets into the playoffs. According to the Associated Press, "Pennington's precise execution of a short passing game made Laveranues Coles and Jerricho Cotchery into 1,000-yard receivers and offset a mediocre running game."

Pennington was the right guy for the honor in my book. Do you agree?

Of course. The guy came back from not one but two serious shoulder surgeries. Some doubted whether he would even make the team this year. He had to compete for the starting job, won it, and led the Jets to a 10-win season.

He def deserved it. Who comes back from surgeries like that and takes their team to a 10-6 season. Not many players.

Yeah Chad definitely deserved this honor. Next year he'll cut down on those INTs like he said he's gonna and when all is said and done people will be considering Chad Pennington as a GREAT quarterback just like now Drew Brees has moved into that class...in my opinion!

Glad to see him get it, he deserved it. I honestly never thought he would be able to play in the NFL again. Glad I was wrong.
