| According to Martin, he's healthy now. He'll have to take a pay cut to stay with the Jets (I believe he's owed about $8 Million this year). He's been quoted as saying if the Jets do bring in a new young runningback, they'd have to outplay him to take his job away. Exactly the attitude you want from a vet. I think he has a good two years left in him. With that said, I believe he can retire as the 2nd best rusher in NFL history. He only needs 1,168 yards to tie Barry Sanders for 3rd. He needs 2,625 yards to reach Walter Payton. He can do it. |
