RPI UPDATE: Those first three wins don't seem so superior nowadays. The Jets' new-look defense punked the Texans in the opener, Tom Brady was clearly still very rusty in Week 2 and the Titans are clearly a collapsing mess and now 0-6. After Mark Sanchez reminded us of his rookie status at NO, the Jets have dropped back-to-back games vs. losing teams.
LOOKING AHEAD: There's a healthy blend of contenders and pretenders on the remaining schedule, lending hope that they can coax a playoff berth together if they can support the kid QB.
THIS WEEK: at Raiders (2-4)

Young Sanchez is struggling badly right now, but he has to hang in there. The Raiders win last week was nothing but a fluke.
Sanchez and the Jets pull it together for the win.

Even though the Jets won on mostly rushing tds, Sanchez has to be feeling better about himself and his team. Jets win 38-0.
Quarterback Bruce Gradkowski was in for the ineffective JaMarcus Russell, but was pretty ineffective himself with only 97 yards.
KR/RB Leon Washington suffered a broken fibula and will be out indefinitely. Big hurt for the Jets.
