It was a combination of the Isles playing good and Atlanta absolutely not playing at all. But the Isles were down 2-0 in the 3rd today against San Jose and scored 3 third period goals. 4 in a row!! This is like a different team. Even Satan looks like he has a pulse. He had a fight in the 3rd period.

Re: Who was that team? The Isles played well in the 3rd period...a little listless before that, but the Sharks have stellar defense so that may have been part of the problem...more worried about Sutton now due to massive defensive injuries to our team...still, this is the game we needed to win to get back into it and we did....now we better beat Tampa!

Re: Who was that team? We are finished now though...sutton is out with a torn hammy...thats not 6 weeks, it's 12....Witt's injury looks to have him sidelined at least 2 more weeks...Gervais, who knows when he'll play again...Ricky will now routinely face 40-50 shots a night....he can stop em all, but he'd have to play the best hockey of his career to do it...if I were GM I would HAVE to think of our long term future and sell sell sell...he's in a tough spot because we are winning but the odds are seriously stacked against us now and I want to win consistently and compete for the Cup annually someday....we are not going to get there with this group and I firmly believe that and only want what is best for our team.
