Shutout at Florida. How much worse can it get? One thing that really came out was how much faster the Panthers were than the Islanders.

Nolan needs to get Bergenheim and Park off the 4th line. Put Hilbert back there and even Hunter for a couple of games. He does absolutely nothing.

Also, Andy Sutton has been a bust so far. He gives entirely too many pucks away in the defensive zone.

Hi all.....been watching one game behind for a while...gotta love the DVR. Thankfully we got that win last night (Sat). Good to see Bergeron riding the pine for a while. I don't care what kinda shot he has...he can't hold the line and can't play D...Bruno is a better Dman. We are going to have trouble winning unless Guerin and Comrie start scoring with more consistency...have to disagree on Hunter...he SHOULD score more but does all the other things well and hits hard.

Blue, DiPietro keeps us in every single game. If it wasn't for him, we'd be the worst team in the conference. Not only does he stop a billion shots but right now, he's our best puck moving defenseman.

Isles2279: Bergeron is riding the bench - not because of his play, but because he mouthed off to the coaches during a game....

I'm not worried about Guerrin, but Comrie hasn't been good, lately. He looks like he's playing nervously....

The major problem with the Isles now is we don't have a star goal scorer. A Kovulchuk, Jagr, Heatley, even a Glen Murray type.

I don't get it. How does a guy going from being last year's savior to such a bad player? Personally, I don't think he's as bad as you do, Isles2279 and Ted Nolan for that matter. It's almost like he's the scapegoat for this team's ills.

Last season my focus was on his offensive prowess. This season Ive been able to take a closer look at how he handles the opposing forwards and it makes me sick. He cant match their size, seems unable to keep up with them, and is not able to get into good position on them. Plus, he just stands there and watches as the opposition shoots the puck multiple times at Ricky. What I dont understand is why we dont try and convert him into a forward....it might work!
