The whole team has caught Andy Hilbert disease. If not for a goal with 2 minutes left in the game against Boston last night, the Islanders would have been shutout for the 2nd straight game.

Some notes: 1) In the last 12 games, The Islanders haven't scored more than 2 goals in any of those games, and Bill Guerrin hasn't registered a point..

That late goal last night by Chris Campoli was the Isles first goal by a defenseman since October.

You can work hard and play the best defense, but if you can't put the puck in the net, you can't win.

Another pathetic game. If I have to sit there and watch Bergeron yawn as opposite team forwards blast DP with repeated shots any longer I'm going to be sick. You're right, we can't score and not many players are taking it to the front of the damn net...no guts. We look dreadful...except for Ricky of course.

At least Bergeron gets a half decent shot to the net.

Here's what I see that's wrong on their power play. They don't try to move the puck enough into the slot. They seem obsessed with getting the puck to the point. I know that Berard and Bergeron have great shots but get the puck in closer.

Trent Hunter and Radek Martinek have been terrible this year. Especially Martinek.
