The Islanders beat the Devils 6-1. This may be their first win this year that was a breeze. Every other win they've gotten is by 1 goal and it's always a struggle.

Now I'm starting to believe that maybe this team has a little magic to it. The young kids jelling and DiPietro finally starting to play like a #1 overall pick.

They'll get me hoping, excited that they will catch that #8 playoff spot.....and then they'll blow it and keep me in this constant state of torture.

Five points out, but Montreal's been hot. Not sure if they'll be able to do it, Pundit. It helps that they have two more games against both the Canadiens and Atlanta before the end of March. They'll need to pull out wins in at least 3 of those 4 contests, don't you think?

Oh man I know that feeling. I always feel the Leafs give me just enough hope of success to maximize my sense of dissappointment when they fail.

Considering they've trade 3 veteran defensemen and one of their top goal scorers and are basically playing kids, I'd be shocked if they could do it. But hey, stranger things have happened.
