Re: something doesn't smell right see but it's like Pundit and I are sitting in the same section, different colours, waving at each other. Both suffering the same indignities of a team that won't come through. I can't do it.

Re: something doesn't smell right All right. In the competitive spirit only, then. There's a stench at Nassau coliseum and it's not the Islanders... Islanders not to blame for this foul mess... Even the pipes can't win at Nassau Coliseum... Pipes, 1. Islanders, 0.

Hey Pundit, your Islanders can't even beat the Pipes man... |

Omen schmomen. When the pipes were bursting at the Coliseum, these new, young, energized Isles were taking care of business in Boston. Isles 2-0 since the fire sale. The last visiting team to play in the Coliseum? The Leafs. Darcy Tucker must have taken some crap to make the pipes burst like that. If he could only make his breakaway shots like he does number twos, the Leafs might have gotten that 2nd point the other night.

Pundit battles back...but this fight is not over...it remains to be seen how The Islanders will do back in their smelly Coliseum...But if you ask me, if Darcy Tucker was indeed responsible, then the man was thinking way outside that box...He is taking the fight to the Islander in a "psychological manner"...I say two thumbs up for Mr. Tucker...

ASSOCIATED PRESS The New York Islanders’ dressing room sustained severe damage when a sewage pipe burst in Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, N.Y. The Islanders said the team’s workout room was almost completely destroyed by flooding Saturday night as the arena hosted an ice show. An early estimate put repair costs at more than $1 million. The Islanders aren’t scheduled to play in the 34-year-old Coliseum until March 21, when they are supposed to play the Montreal Canadiens. There is little chance that repairs will be completed before then, the team said. Water started flooding the hallway where the Islanders and visiting team locker rooms are located after the skating show began. The ceiling in the workout room caved in, with debris and sewage engulfing the area. Flooding then spread into the Islanders’ dressing room. There goes home ice advantage I guess...
