Re: Giants Draft Hakeem Nicks Yeah, I do too. I just wish he had like 2-3 more inches on him. He would be totally awesome. I think he will be a super for the G Men. Just hope he doesn't go the usual for rookie receivers and get hurt in training camp. That seems to be the norm for the past several years. I still not sure if they should persue Edwards though. I know he had a lot of drops last year but the previous year was a good one. Plus he would take the heat off the other guys even if he doesn't catch the ball.

Re: Giants Draft Hakeem Nicks I totally agree. I think this guy is going to be awesome. That TE they got in draft is going to give the defense fits also. With him a Boss, and the rest of the crew, I think the offense will shock a lot of people. Especially all that say the Giants not same without Plax. With Osi coming back and the guys they picked up in the off season the D is going to be awesome. QB's are going to be running for their lives. I love it! Can't wait till training camp up here in Albany starts.

Re: Giants Draft Hakeem Nicks Hakeem Nicks is a guy that reminds me of Anquan Boldin with his size and strength. I know they also drafted the tallest WR in the draft in the later rounds so I see they are really trying to address their WR situation.

Re: Giants Draft Hakeem Nicks Yeah, that other WR name is Ramses Barden. He's 6'6" about 230. He's going to be interesting for defenses to cover inside the Red and End Zone. I see him as a secret weapon when the Giants get down to the 20 and inside. I know they won't but I would still love to see them go after Edwards or Bouldin. That would make some kind of awesome offense. Eli would love it!

Re: Giants Draft Hakeem Nicks Really like this pick. JR proves yet again that he's one of the very best. He didn't trade this pick and others to chase one of the nut-job yet #1 WRs, because he didn't believe he had to. He's right. He has reason to believe Smith, Hixon, Moss, Manningham, and Tyree (ok, so if he's not a Pro Bowl special teams guy who became their Super Bowl hero he wouldn't be here... if he's healthy they'll keep him) can hold up while Nicks and Barden learn the WR position. Nicks has a real good shot to play this season. Nicks is polished, physically gifted, and will be a top flight WR in this league in 2010. The Raiders will be kicking themselves.
