Shawn O'Hara injured

New York Giants center Shawn O'Hara is out indefinitely with a sprained knee, the Associated Press is reporting. "O'Hara sprained the medial collateral ligament in his knee in Thursday's 17-0 win over the Kansas City Chiefs at Giants Stadium," the AP story says, adding that the center "is not the only Giant offensive lineman who is hurting... Starting tackle Luke Petitgout continues to be plagued by back spasms and he left Thursday's game earlier than expected, while starting guard Chris Snee is still trying to recover from a hamstring injury from the first days of training camp."

Wow... what happens if these three guys miss a significant amount of time?

Re: Shawn O'Hara injured

Pettigout's back has been a pain for years. Sadly LT is a position that's tough to find in the NFL so hopefully he'll work through it.

All those MCL, PCL type injuries can be serious. A sprain will only hopefully mean OHara will miss the rest of the pre-season.

OHara might miss the first couple of games and Pettigouts back as the Empire said has almost always bothered him. Still these are big injuries as the O-line is the key to any offense. Eli still has some learning to do and its gonna be tough against the defenses of the Colts and Panthers so hes gonna need time to read those defenses. This reminds me of the Jets last year when almost the whole team was on the DL by game 3. I hate the preseason.
