NY Giants 2nd Pre-Season Game; vs. Chiefs

The Giants are in the middle of their second pre-season game of the year, at home versus the Chiefs. THey're leading 14-0 in the 2nd QTR. The Giants defense looked dominant and were able to stop the Chiefs on the first drive of the game. Eli Manning led the team on a 60-yard drive, ending with a TD pass to Toomer. The other TD was scored on a 1-yard run by Brandon Jacobs.

So far, they've looked great.

Impressive 17-0 win by the Giants. Besides Eli, who had a great day, which New York players most impressed you in this one?

Jacobs looked decent...and the 3rd string QB Lorenzen...isn't he the former hefty looking QB from Kentucky?

Lorenzen is the big QB in stature. He's fighting for the 3rd QB spot on the roster with Rob Johnson. So far, I'd say he's earned his gig.

Against the Chiefs, the Giants pass rush looked great. When Trent Green was in the game, he was running around trying to avoid it. The run defense had a good game after last week's debacle too.

Preseason games to me mean less than a warm jar of monkey urine. I hate them as they are nothing more than a great opportunity for a player to get himself injured. As long as everyone is healthy im happy but sadly such is not the case in Giant-land.

I totally agree with you Trashed. Pre-season means zippo!
