Eli for a 2nd year player last year was playing among the tops in the NFC. Of course that came down in the last quarter of the season but his #s were still comparable to his brother. Still, Eli once he's able to get alll the experience should continue to develop into one of the tops in the NFC.

Eli's good. Not Peyton good, but still good. Will he ever be as good as Peyton? I personally don't think so, but that's no knock on Eli. Let's face it, Peyton is a rare talent. He's the Beatles, and I'm afraid Eli's going to be stuck being the Beach Boys -- very good, not just not comparable to his older brother.

Eli Manning's 2005 season consisted of nearly 3500 yds passing, 24 TDs and 17 INTs. Thats one of the worst in the NFL???? Damn!!! Some teams WISH they had a worst kind of QB that can toss 24 TDs in his 1st full year! One of the worst??? Come on thats ridiculous. Does Eli need to improve in some areas? Yes, especially his accuracy but a QB is a 3-4 year project folks. I know he came to NY as a saviour but hes young and hes human and he needs time to grow and learn the NFL which I have no doubt he will. Better than Peyton? Maybe he wont toss 49 TDs but for gods sake look at Peytons cast! Harrison, Wayne, Stokley, Clark, James (had, well see how he plays without him) I mean theres a lot of QBs that could put up big numbers with that cast not to mention his best in the league O-Line protecting him. What if Eli throws around 25 TDs a year but wins the NFC? Will that make him better? What if the Giants beat the Colts in week 1 like im predicting they will? Better is a very subjective word friends. Tom Brady has 3 superbowl rings and great stats and no real name recievers or weapons. Branch is GOOD not great. Hes about as good as Stokely (Indys 3RD RECIEVER!!!). Id say Brady is better than both Mannings wouldnt you?
