Hey now, my Eagle supporting friend...don't take the spot light away from my Cowboys and miss shine it on that less than spectacular football team in New York...though I am an Eli fan...I got them down for no better than a 10-6 season...

Toughest division to pick, IMO. I'd give the edge to the Cowboys - slightly better talent, easier schedule.

Re: new york going to win the division again

This is the toughest division to pick because of two things 1) nobody knows how the Eagles will bounce back and 2) nobody knows if the Redskins can come back strong after a playoff year. We all expect the Giants and Cowboys to play strong. All teams improved but of course with any team, they all have to stay healthy and free of off the field problems.

Shoot! Im a Giants fan and I have them down for an 8-8 season. Not even the '85 Bears could have a winning record with the travelling and level of teams the Giants have to go through. I do hope im wrong.

Cool Re: new york going to win the division again

Even though your 13 posts in, welcome to GoTeamsGo Eagles5. I think the Giants have no shot to win this division. It's between the Cowboys and your Eagles.

I just can't see how looking at the schedule at this point will determine anything. Obviously the road games are expected to be tough but nobody has a clue of who will be good or what teams will flat out be terrible. You never know.

The Giants have as good a team as any in the division but we'll see how the teams each play outside of said division turn to be.

The schedule isn't the only factor but last year the Giants schedule was incredibly easy. They had 9 home games, played the Saints, Cardinals, 49ers, and didn't play the Eagles until McNaab was gone for the year. Did you see how they looked when they played a good team like the Panthers in the playoffs? This year they have the Colts, Bears, Eagles early, Carolina..

ya the giants is going to lose more games then last year because of their shedule. the giants are not giong to play that many easy teams this year and they are sure to lose their first game aganst the colts.

Re: new york going to win the division again

Actually I see them upsetting the Colts cuz Eli is gonna play his carcass off to beat his brother and the Colts taking the Giants D lightly. From there on however the schedule from hell takes over!
