Looking at the team before they enter the dreaded humid days of training camp, this is what everyone expects their OLine to look like this season:
LT-Luke Pettigout
LG-David Diehl
OC-Shaun OHara
RG-Chris Snee
RT-Kareem McKenzie
OT-Bob Whitfield
OG-Rich Seubert
OT-Guy Whimper
OG-Gary Ruegamer
Now on paper, this looks like a pretty good group to have. Snee and Diehl (for the most part) have shown to be steady rocks on the line in their young careers. McKenzie had a somewhat dissapointing season, especially later on last year so I'm looking for him to improve. OHara is, I'd think, the weakest part of the line. Of course he's just average in my book. But in his two seasons with the Giants, Tiki Barber has been one of the best backs in the NFL so who knows
Then there's Pettigout. He always seems to draw the ire of Giants fans with his constant false starts and sore back issues. Hopefully, before his Giants career is a thing of the past we can finally see him be Eli's rock for however long.
The depth is pretty strong as well so that's a plus. Then again, injuries can change all this in a second.
