Sinorice Moss in 2006...How Much Of An Impact?

Anyone hear this year how much or if Sinorice Moss will be used for the Giants in Sept.? Hes fast thats for sure and most likely will be the 3rd wide reciever but do you think he can take Toomers place by mid-season or is that asking for too much?

Why replace Toomer? Isn't he the team's all-time leading receiver now? At any rate, I think Moss will be a solid #3, and he'll really help to open up the Giants passing attack. I think 600-800 yards and 5 scores would be a very good rookie campaign for the youngster. What do you think? Too optimistic? Too pessimistic?

Well Toomer is gonna be 32 this year and doesnt have the speed of Moss. Perhaps not replace this year but down the road I see it happening. Toomer was never much of a burner to start with but still a very good reciever so I see both him and Moss getting significant playing time. As for your statiscal analysis...id say its about right. 700 yds and 4 TDs id fine tune it to.

If Moss can stay healthy (in other words...not be Tim Carter) there's no reason to believe he won't be a key part of the team in the slot receiver position. As for Toomer, he is still a good receiver. As long as Plaxico can keep his attitude in check, all three guys should have successful seasons.

In the future, Moss should be able to develop into a good-great #2 receiver.

Plax is looking like Owens Part 2. I said they should have signed Travis Taylor and forsook this headcase. The Giants mistake is the Vikings starting wideout and Taylor is a workaholic. Look at the way Burress gave up in the last 3 games. No wonder Eli's stats nosedived at the second half of the season. Burress decided to stop playing. Shockey didnt do much either but he was hampered by injuries, Burress has no excuse.
