Bradshaw breaks silence

RB Ahmad Bradshaw has finally broken his silence about his stay in jail this offseason. He says it goes back to his two arrests as a college football player, one for underage drinking and one for stealing a Playstation.
Bradshaw was put on probation as a 15 year old and the reason for that is not known. All of his criminal records have been sealed.
He has another 30 day jail term to serve in the 2009 off season.

He was on probation since he was 15 and the two arrests in college led to the jail stay now. It took a long time for that to happen and the reason for that is not known either.

Re: Bradshaw breaks silence

This is starting to get ridiculous, I feel the NFL has to do something but I don't no what they should do. I thought they were pretty good with Michael Vick, but possibly too easy on Pac-man, sorry Adam Jones.

should he be punished for actions that happened when he was in the 1st grade too, the nfl has no jurisdiction in this situation and the commish knows it

A one game suspension for shoving the little redheaded girl in the lunch line? Somehow I can almost see Goodell doing it.

Where in that article does it even say anything about the NFL getting involved.

Excellent Cougar. It doesnt say any anything about the NFL being involved. And I dont think the NFL will get involved unless Bradshaw gets into trouble after he is drafted. They would have no jurisdiction and absolutely no reason to otherwise.
Up to now, Bradshaw has been very closemouthed about the issue and why he had to go to jail in the first place. He still has to serve another 30 days but it stems from those earlier incidents.

Re: Bradshaw breaks silence

What kind of system do we have when NFL players are catered to, allowed to serve their time on their terms? If I commit a crime I think I will opt to serve time in 2056.
