Will Peterson Fired, Rob Johnson Hired

Today, the Giants cut CB Will Peterson. For most of last year, his career was in doubt due to a serious back injury. Prior to his previous 2 injury plagued seasons, he was developing into a very good CB. He was more of the physical type but was a player. He was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2001 draft.

The Giants signed veteran QB Rob Johnson to compete with Tim Hasselbeck for the back-up QB job.

Rob Johnson? Ugh. Is HE still around? How many teams do you need to fail with before people realize you're not an NFL level QB? Man, I think I'd rather even have someone like Tim Couch than Rob Johnson.
