Shockey to Saints Hit Snag

Late word Saturday night is that the Giants are asking for a higher pick from the Saints then the 2nd rounder they may be willing to give up. One source says some within the Saints franchise only would be willing to give up a 3rd rounder and not the reported 2nd rounder and safety Roman Harper the Giants may want.

ESPN - Sources: Saints, Shockey stuck in trade limbo - NFL

Giants to deal Jeremy Shockey, Saints interested in the TE?

Re: Shockey to Saints Hit Snag

This morning, ESPN is reporting that it could be done any minute. Looks like that snag's been worked out.

If the Saints get this done, they'll be a force to reckon with in the NFC, that offense would be out of this world.

Only if McAlister comes back. It was apparent they missed him last season.

He will. Don't you know? He's going to be the NFC Comeback Player of the Year this year. Because I said so.
If they land Shockey and trade up for Glenn Dorsey as rumored, look out!
