Osi Umenyiora had hinted at a possible holdout for a new contract earlier, but has now said he has decided not to pursue that negotiating tactic. He says it is hard to watch other players who he considers arent as good as he is and make more money. But he believes that the Giants will take good care of him when the time is right.

It's good to hear he won't hold out...BUT...GM Jerry Reese's history is that he won't redo deals and hand out more money. At least that doesn't jive with what he's said since he took over the position.
