Giants want DeAngelo Hall

ESPN.com is reporting that the Giants may be looking to acquire Falcons DB DeAngelo Hall. Good pickup for the Super Bowl Champs?

Excellent pickup and I believe that Hall will be a lot more happier playing for the defending champs (that sounds so weird now) then the lowly Falcons.

I know they won the Super Bowl, but the last thing they need is another talking head.

I guess he would be a good backup RB. I dont think he should start if he becomes a giant

I agree completely. I know they want help at corner, but this isn't a good idea. He's a malcontent and commits too many stupid penalties.

THey had plenty of talking heads last year and they won the Super Bowl. So you might as well go for the talent.

Re: Giants want DeAngelo Hall

If they could fit the money into the budget and acquire Hall, they have to do it. The guy is one of the best corners in the game and he's young. The Giants have team leadership so it's not like he'll be mouthing off...it's not like he has anything to show for his career yet anyway.

But I doubt the Giants trade for a Hall or Trufant. IMO, they'll hold the pick and take a LB or Corner depending on who's available.

Re: Giants want DeAngelo Hall

Shockey AND Hall? Wow! There will be more penalties and temper tantrums than a kindergarten. Tom Coughlin will have to start giving out time outs for two big mouthed, overrated malcontents. I say keep the pick(s) and draft someone or get somebody a bit more low key and team oriented.

Hey, I am a Cowboy fan, but if the Giants did well with the head cases they have...why not Hall?

There's only so many head cases you have have before your franchise turns from a private practice to a mental institution.

Kind of reminds me of the 2000 Vikings.

Actually, I think he might be ok at the Giants. He and Shockey are at opposite sides of the ball.
No way he is going to take on Strahan. He's been around too long. Hall might have to behave himself.
