Steve Spagnuolo decided against taking the Redskins job and instead, has signed a new three-year deal with the G-MEN that makes him the highest paid defensive coordinator in the league.

It's reportedly a $2.5 million per year deal.

Seems coordinators are getting more money to stay put. First Garret, now him. I like that trend. Seeing these guys stay with thier teams and building some tradition and stability is great!

I don't know about tradition. If/when a good head coaching job comes along and Spags is offered it...I'm sure he'll jump. The Redskins aren't exactly a stable job, lol.

But the man did lead his defense to shut down the biggest offense in NFL history. Deserves every penny.
