In addition to his sprained/dislocated ankle, Plaxico Burress played in Super Bowl XLII with a sprained MCL, according to the New York Post.
He reportedly sprained the knee slipping in the hotel shower Monday. "Until this morning, I honestly didn't think I would be able to go," Plax said Sunday night. Burress seemed to have trouble releasing off the line, but came up with the game-winning TD. He also had his shoulder wrapped after the game. It's unclear whether Plax will need surgery on the ankle this offseason.
