He's not sure yet but Amani Toomer's right hand is in a cast. X-Rays will determine whether there is a fracture. Toomer may have broken his right hand during the Super Bowl in the 4th quarter on a third down reception.

I've done that before, hurt hand playing basketball, put on a cast for precautionary measures.

Not an actually one just an like one of those smaller ones that you get after you've had surgery and don't need major ones.

Arthur Staple, of New York Newsday, reports New York Giants WR Amani Toomer (hand) injured his right hand during a catch he made with eight minutes left in Super Bowl XLII on Sunday, Feb. 3. Toomer will have X-Rays taken on his hand.

I don't know if Amani has had the time to get an x-ray done, lol. Figure Sunday night and Monday were all celebration, no sleep. Tuesday was the big parade.

That seems like a very logical answer. Sort of the same way I was thinking, plus it may have bothered more as the hours went by.

Guys, the very first post says X-rays will determine IF there is a fracture. To me that says the xrays havent been taken yet.
I remember TO had to wait to get xrays taken after he hurt his ankle the last time. Me, if I thought I had a fracture I would think the hospital would send for xrays right away.
At any rate, it had to HURT.

If he didn't know it was broken and still doesn't, then it couldn't have hurt that much. let's not put him in the same class with Iron Mike and Jack Youngblood just yet. And anyone who believes that Plaxico hurt his knee "slipping in the shower" is just toooo gullible. This coming from a Giants' rooter. Next it will be Strahan played the game with a broken vertebra in his neck.
