| Re: Eli Manning: Super Bowl MVP I suspect there will be a bust of him in the HOF before Eli makes it there. |

| Re: Eli Manning: Super Bowl MVP I was way wrong about Eli but let's not get too too carried away here. On several of his throws in the game his receivers had to make great catches, such as Tyrees, Toomer with a sideline grab and diving catch on that last drive, and Smith with a couple. I am glad for him to have played well, but I don't see him as definitvely having turned the corner. Just six weeks ago we were all wondering if he was ever going to "get it." If Tyree doesn't make the silliest play ever, are we still talking about Eli in this manner? Brady showed in the Super Bowl by the way that with no protection, he is very very ordinary, as are all QBs when they are on their back.

| Re: Eli Manning: Super Bowl MVP I am not afraid to admit when I am wrong. He can play in the NFL unlike I thought, but lets slow down here a minute. I would not schedule an appointment with the bust maker just yet. Let's not forgt that Trent Dilfer has a super bowl ring too. I am not taking away from Mannings great game. He really came through, but he needs to do a lot more to be considered great instead of just having a great game.
