I was way wrong about Eli but let's not get too too carried away here. On several of his throws in the game his receivers had to make great catches, such as Tyrees, Toomer with a sideline grab and diving catch on that last drive, and Smith with a couple. I am glad for him to have played well, but I don't see him as definitvely having turned the corner. Just six weeks ago we were all wondering if he was ever going to "get it." If Tyree doesn't make the silliest play ever, are we still talking about Eli in this manner? Brady showed in the Super Bowl by the way that with no protection, he is very very ordinary, as are all QBs when they are on their back.

Of course there were some throws that looked downright awful (the one that comes to mind for me...the little floater to the left late in the game. Not the Plaxico miss but there was another...I thought for sure it would be picked off....or the missed pick by Samuel in the 4th).

Then again Eli did make a picture perfect TD throw needled in to Tyree.

Eli is a leader, a gamer and the Giants have a franchise QB...for a long long time.

No that was the teams loss. In that game, eli kept throwing pick after pick, and wasnt making completions.

Not in some sports but in football yes, it's game. One can player can have more impact on it than another but in the end it's on the entire team.
