Starting Giants rookie corner Aaron Ross had to leave the NFC Divisional Playoff game in Dallas due to an injured shoulder. He hurt it in the first half but returned to the game. During the first series of the second half, he aggravated it and never returned to the field. His right arm was in a sling on the sidelines.
According to the AP, Ross had X-Rays taken of his shoulder.
Ross' absence meant the Giants were playing without their top three corners (Sam Madison and Kevin Dockery did not play).
