Although the Patriots haven't actually won the game yet, everyone seems to be assuming that they're going to be 16-0 by the end of Saturday night's game against the Giants.

But one Giants player is getting a little tired of hearing how great the Patriots are, and he has an interesting way of saying so:

"It's not like they're Jesus Christ and his 12 disciples or anything like that," defensive end Osi Umenyiora said of the 15-0 Pats. "They're an outstanding team, but they're not so far ahead of everybody else."

OK now but just keep in mind that everything you see, hear and read is media driven. If it were not for them we'd never know how well they have done.

I'm just tired of it all! Go Giants. And you are right, LSC. I think it is just a product of having the media shove these teams down out throats!

You can't put all the blame on the media. We are the ones that are watching, reading and buying into everything they put out. If the Pats didn't get such high ratings when they played, the networks would not be showing them.

Yes ... it is a vicious circle. We are to blame also but I honestly believe if it weren't for the
medias ability to turn a profit on it .... we'd not see anywhere near as much of any sport.

Yeah, its a media thing...but I really do not see the Pats high on the charisma scale...the team has character...but little charisma...if they had a little more fan appeal...we would see nation wide Pats mania.
