The Giants head to Philly this weekend to play th tough (5-7) Eagles, who are on a two game losing streak. The Giants defeated the Bears a week ago and are looking to increase their lead in the NFC wild card.

The Giants are a bit banged up going into this ballgame. S Gibril Wilson may not play for the second week in a row. MLB Antonio Pierce has ankle issues and probably will play. S James Butler has a hamstring problem that may cost him a game. Rookie S Michael Johnson had a neck issue against the Bears but he's been labeled as fine and should play.

Brandon Jacobs is expected to play this week. Reuben Droughns will back him up.

The Giants beat the Eagles back in September, 16-3.

Plus, the Giants can clinch a playoff spot by:
1. Giants win + Panthers loss or tie + Lions loss + Saints loss or tie + Cardinals loss + Redskins loss or tie OR
2. Giants win + Panthers loss or tie + Lions loss + Saints loss or tie + Cardinals loss + Vikings loss or tie

Antonio Pierce hasn't practiced for two straight days so he's a question mark.

James Butler has practiced and expected to be available. Steve Smith has been practicing more and more so he should be ready, too.

Giants now are driving again and trying for a TD.

Burress looks good. He's been fairly consistantly open in the second half, and Eli's been hitting him. They look sharp.

Too bad they haven't been sharp in the redzone. Giants kicked a field goal, now lead 16-10.

Plaxico hobbles around but somehow makes some nice catches and still runs. I wouldn't want to see how his ankle is. lol

Plaxico Burress was a game time decision and he ended up making several game breaking plays!! With a bad ankle he burned the Eagle D. Very impressive.
