News on Ward is not good. He has a broken leg and is likely gone for the rest of the year.

You have no idea how much this sucks. Ward has been the best back for the Giants this year and dare I say one of the better all-round backs in the NFL in 2007.

Now the Giants must rely on Brandon Jacobs getting healthy and staying healthy and Reuben Droughns.

that sucks. I have him on 2 different fantasy teams. not much but scraps left: last I saw Ron Dayne was the top RB left

oh well, at least Gore is back (maybe) and I was able to get CHI's Peterson when Benson was lost, though I was ready to dump him anyway...

guess I'll be spending the next couple hours rummaging thru RB's to see what gold I can find...

Ward was placed on injured reserve today, officially ending his 2007 season.

To take his roster spot, the Giant signed RB Danny Ware from the Jets practice squad (lol, trying to strike lightning twice?).
