NY Giants vs. Chicago Bears

The NFC collides this week in Chicago when the Bears take on the NY Giants. The Bears are coming off a big comeback win against Denver while the Giants looked like fools against the Vikings.

The Giants need a win to settle down the fan base while Chicago is looking at getting deeper into the wild card hunt.

I don't think cornerback Aaron Ross will play. Brandon Jacobs won't but Derrick Ward likely will.

If it snow's, it should be an extra fun game to watch

Cool Re: NY Giants vs. Chicago Bears

I think the Bears will win this week. I need to Eli resemble a professional QB again before I ever pick the Giants to win.

Re: NY Giants vs. Chicago Bears

CB Aaron Ross, RB Brandon Jacobs and S Gibril Wilson are not with the team in Chicago and won't play tomorrow.

Michael Johnson will start in Wilson's place. Ward will start at RB.

ward is having a big day...all this time I thought Tiki was the man...but since...both Jacobs and Ward have done just as well...must be the line.

Re: NY Giants vs. Chicago Bears

Speaking of jokes can we put Tiki's whipping boy Eli Manning on the joke list after today's masterful performance? Or is he still young and is learning after 4 years?

I will say he has looked terrible today, and past couple games, that shouldnt damage his whole nfl career yet but if he keeps this up, then most definitley he will be put on the list, I just dont know whats going on with him, he has looked bad..

Re: NY Giants vs. Chicago Bears

Plus Ward left holding his ankle and was seen on crutches during the late stages of the game. That's not good by any means. As for Eli...all I have to say is i'd hate to have him in fantasy football league that penalizes for turnovers! He gets his touchdown passes but for every touchdown and twenty five yards added he turns the ball over two times. Would drive me bonkers!

Re: NY Giants vs. Chicago Bears

Ward is one damn good RB, I hope he's not seriously hurt and they were just resting him on the crutches.

Eli was awful for three quarters. Then something flipped the switch and he was good in the final quarter.

And for ONCE, the defense actually came up with a HUGE stop. This was a tough win, hopefully they can build on it.

I think he got really lucky to win yesterday. Besides those last couple of drives, he was terrible.

I'll say this: If Grossman would have hit a wide open Berrian a couple of times for TD's instead of overthrowing him, the Giants don't come back.

If Plaxico was healthy, the Giants offense would be better.

Lots of if's.
