After Sunday's game, Jon Kitna said "Yeah, it’s more difficult because that [the Giants] is not a better football team than us. We gave them the football game today."

In response, after being told of his comments, Michael Strahan said, "Did he really say that? I honestly in the first half thought that was one of the worst teams we played that was 6-3, to be honest with you. I don’t quite understand why Jon would say that, but the bottom line is we’re 7-3 and they’re 6-4. Maybe we’ll see them down the road, and if that is the case we’ll beat that ass again."


I just had a nice laugh over the whole thing.

I'll second that. Kitna's quickly becoming one the more outspoken players in the league, and Strahan's always entertaining. Good stuff.

Maybe so, but Kitna has way too much to say all the time. Just shut up and win the game before you open your mouth.

Agreed. All that bravado from Kitna after you lose just looks foolish. If you want to say you thought your team was better and gave the game away there are better ways to say it while speaking your mind.
