ok before i get into my story...here is my back story..i live in the eastern part of Pennsylvania..so the eagles get crammed down your throat everywhere..so naturally being a giants fan.. i had an evil hatred for eagles fans... i mean come on.. 1.they boo Santa clause... 2.cheer when michael irvan breaks his neck..ending his career.. (i don't care what team you like you should never cheer for something like that)...3. they boo mcnabb when he gets drafted.. 5 months later.. after he starts winning them games.. he's the almighty Saviour..now that things aren't going too well.. he's a bum again...


ok here is my story...
i was at my local bar watching the giants and cowboys game..i was the only giants fan there.. wearing my bright red shockey jersey...theres a huge cowboys fan there..so the razzing begins..then i notice her...

now before i make a statement here..i am in no way making a statement about the fans of the cowboys or of the south... just a statement about this one fan...
this rather large women strolls into the bar.. wearing dirty as all hell grey sweatpants.. like it looked like she hasn't washed them since 1972...and blue cowboys shirt..that had a huge hole in the middle of her shirt revealing.. well... her huge gut...as soon as she sees me.. all i hear is.." oh mo#$@^ f$!ker..look at that big red p#&&y..how's it gonna feel when t.o. rams it up your big blue @$$"..so right away i know i'm in for a hell of a treat...my god did she have a mouth on her..no lie she would of made most truckers blush...

so the game gets started..and i noticed something about her.. every time the cowboys made a somewhat decent play.. she explodes like its the second coming of Christ... but when the cowboys weren't doing so well she was quieter then a church mouse... so after shockey catches like his 5th or 6th catch.. i turn to her and say.."so do the cowboys intend to cover shockey today or what?" her face turn a bright red.. and she replies" the are covering him..shockeys cheating.. look at him holding williams every play..."..of course i say the first thing that pops in my head.."um..no.. shockey's beating williams like he stole something.."..then she goes quiet for a bit... eli threw to shockey and it was an incomplete pass..and she goes right back to it.." shocky cant get sh!* on my boys...".. the next play shockey scored the td...i just had to laugh...then when it looked like the giants might win..(before halftime) she gets up and mumbles .."its over..i'm going home"..

now back to the original cowboys fan at the bar when i first got there.. all he could seem to muster..about every 5 minutes was..."f&@* those giants"


i'm sorry for the long post.. but i had to tell the story..
anyway back to my original point of this post..

i realized that the eagles fans really are not that bad.. at least when they insult you.. they do it with a knowledge of the game.. and not just random obscenities...

Cowboys fans can get on my nerves but there's something about Philly fans. Just something, I don't know what.

Eagles fans are bad, they have a jail in the stadium.
Browns arent so sweet. They threw beer bottles at their quarterback that time.
Empire, I'm a nice Cowboy fan. Say nice stuff about Cowboy fans or I am going to tell Santa!
Personally, local Packer fans drive me up a wall, but mostly its all been in fun.

Philly is so bad that i'd honestly consider switching loyalties from the Giants to the Eagles. I would hate it but wearing a Giants jersey to an Eagles game is suicide and I hear that BEING a Giants fan in "the city of brotherly love" makes you a real target. Makes wearing Yankee shirt at Fenway look like Carribean Vacation.
