Antonio Pierce did not practice Wednesday due to a mild concussion. Plaxico Burress missed practice due to the ankle injury and Derrick Ward failed to practice, also with an ankle injury.

Steve Smith practiced somewhat but could still not go 100% due to a hamstring injury.

It sounds like Burress' status is the same as always. Pierce's status should be interesting to watch. With concussions, it's strictly in the hands of the doctor's and training staff. If he can't go Sunday, Chase Blackburn would start at middle line backer.
