Talent aside (cause there are some young guns with raw talent), QB's are asked to "Manage" games these days. Could anyone imagine a 1970's or 80's QB being asked to manage a game? Not likely.

Yeah, we call guys like Damon Huard "bus drivers" (which ironically is what I do for a living!) which means that they just hand the ball off and complete short high percentage passes. The only problem is with all these Bus Drivers is they're given too conservative an offense to run and don't learn to take charge. I don't think we'll see another Peyton Manning for a while. I mean lets face it. Aside from Tom Brady the most exciting QB is the unknown breakout star of this year Derek Anderson. Anderson is most definitely not a Bus Driver and he makes the game more exciting.
