Amani Toomer is one of the best receivers in Giants franchise history. He has records and is among the top of the list of others. He's been hurt in recent years but he's been great this year. He is second on the team in receptions and caught his first TD of the season against the Falcons last week.

Now Toomer still wants a Superbowl ring. “The main thing is to get a Super Bowl ring" said Toomer.

Toomer had off-season surgery and says he may just now be starting to get around 100%. “It usually takes about a year to really get everything back,” Toomer said. “I think I am a couple of weeks away. I hope. I think I am getting better and progressing really well. I think training camp helped me by not practicing twice. I think I am well on my way.”

Toomer was drafted in 1996.

He may be one of the older players in the game, but he's not that old. lol

You know what? The NFC is so bad, I really believe the Giants have as good a chance as anybody to get there.

Of course, the Patriots or the Colts will kick the crap out of them, once they're there, but still.

Actually, I wouldnt count them out either. Cowboys are still at the top but they have been stumbling so bad that unless they pick up the pace, it is still anybody's title.
