There's no easiness in the Giants schedule in the early portion of the 2007 season. After a 1-2 start (including a 1-1 record against division opponents), the Giants welcome the hated Eagles (also, 1-2) to Giants Stadium for what should be a great game.

The Giants are coming off an inspiring performance in the second half against the Redskins. Their defense didn't allow a point and won the game with a goal line stand. Meanwhile, the Eagles are coming off a dominating offensive performance against the Detroit Lions.

However, Brian Westbrook was feared to be injured and unable to play for week four. Tests on his ribs were negative. So it looks like he has sore ribs to match his sore knee.

Also...both teams' next opponents are the Jets. The Giants play next week against their city counterparts. The Eagles have a bye week and then play the Jets.

Plaxico Burress has a sprained right ankle (since a week ago) and says he's not 100% but he is definitely playing.

He's turning into one of the best receivers in the NFC. Definitely need him to produce on Sunday.

Giants RB Derrick Ward is questionable and is said to be a game-time decision for tomorrow night.

If he doesn't play, Ruben Droughns is expected to start. Brandon Jacobs is questionable as well, practiced a day or two this week but isn't expected to play (or if he does, he'll only see a few touches).

Ruben is a workable option for the Giants...the kid has some skills and he has not been used much...bet they miss Tiki though!

Tiki isn't missed like you may think so. Ward has been an amazing replacement while Jacobs is out. The guy is averaging something lke 5.0+ yards per carry.

There's a CBS Sportsline report saying Derrick Ward and Brandon Jacobs are both out for tonight's game.

Nobody else is confirming or denying yet.
