NY Giants vs. Washington Redskins

The New York Giants will try to win their first game of 2007 on the road this weekend against division rival Washington Redskins. The 'Skins are 2-0 and have already beaten the Eagles. The Giants lost to the Cowboys in week 1.

The Redskins defense has only allowed 25 total points in two games. Eli Manning may have a tough day getting the ball to a banged up Plaxico Burress and Amani Toomer. Receiver Steve Smith won't play for a month due to injury.

One thing is for certain IMO. Redskins QB Jason Campbell only has one touchdown in the air this season. He'll have more than one after playing the Giants defense.

The game will be on FOX at 4:15 pm eastern on Sunday.

Cool Re: NY Giants vs. Washington Redskins

The Giants always play well in Washington and Randy Thomas is gone for the year. I have a feeling the Giants get a win this week.

Re: NY Giants vs. Washington Redskins

Plaxico Burress has not practiced this week (don't know if he will tomorrow) but he's expected to play.

Antonio Pierce and Michael Strahan have not been to kind to the local media when asked about their poor play the first two weeks of the year.

Re: NY Giants vs. Washington Redskins

Plaxico is going to be a game-time decision after 'limited' practice this week.

Since Steve Smith is not playing this week, if Burress can't play I assume Sinorice Moss would be the 2nd receiver (behind Toomer).

Re: NY Giants vs. Washington Redskins

oh yeah, Plaxico just made a great catch and took it to the house. Giants lead 24-17 with a few minutes in the fourth left.

Haven't allowed a Redskin score in the 2nd half.

Re: NY Giants vs. Washington Redskins

What a defensive stop! Not a single point allowed in the second half. The game ends with a great stop inside the five by the Giants defense.

Now there is something to build on!

Washington screwed the pooch on that last play. They should have took their time on that last play. Hats off to the Giants.
