| Strahan Miffed At Reduced Fine Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that Giants defensive end Michael Strahan was unhappy with the extent to which the team reduced more than $500,000 in daily fines for his non-holdout holdout from training camp. Per Schefter, the Giants agreed to reduce the fines to $200,000 -- which likely is $200,000 more than Strahan wanted to pay. It's still unknown whether the Giants will try to recoup a portion of Strahan's signing bonus due to his absence from camp. Our guess is that the $200,000 payment settles the issue. Schefter also reports that Strahan is expected to see spot duty in the Giants' regular-season opener against the Cowboys. ProFootballTalk.com -- The Best Pro Football Scoop on the Internet |

| Re: Strahan Miffed At Reduced Fine I think he ought to pay more. These guys always think they can miss training camp and they are so important the team is going to waive the fines. That's why they have the fines. To get them into camp. He missed camp, therefore he gets fined. End of story.
