According to Giants GM Jerry Reese, Michael Strahan has informed him he will make a decision to retire or return within the next 48 hours.

Arthur Staple offers his opinion on what has happened, "What that means, we'll find out when Strahan gets here. If he gets here... Though I'm guessing the chats had something to do with rescinding a portion of the fines, now at $457,216, and perhaps Reese reiterating that Strahan is wanted here."

Im sure missing all that time will be beneficial for him, and a good amount of fines are always fun to pay..

Now it seems things may not be so rosey. Sources close to Strahan say he never said he would make a decision within two days of speaking with the Giants GM. It's now believed that was a ploy by the Giants to make Strahan look bad if he didn't make a decision within that time frame.

Strahan still hasn't made up his mind.

I'm sure like anything, there are parts of it you want to do and parts of it you don't want to do. Deciding whether the positives outweigh the negatives is the tricky part.
