| Tiki's Tell-All Book Could former Giants running back Tiki Barber really be thinking about breaking the most important unwritten rule in sports? It’s common knowledge that what happens in the locker room, stays in the locker room — but is looks like Barber is choosing to ignore that motto. Apparently, Barber is planning a tell-all book detailing “what is really going on behind the scenes in those steamy, sweaty locker rooms,” according to gossip all-star Cindy Adams. By the end of his career, Barber was known for shooting off his mouth — in fact, he had no problems throwing his coach/teammates under the bus, so this shouldn’t come as a surprise. Barber backed out of the game and never thought twice about it. He became fixated on his post-NFL career and wanted to be the media. Now he, like Jose Canseco before him, plans to air out the dirty laundry. Will his book make the NFL look as bad as Canseco’s did the MLB? That remains to be seen, but I can assure you that there are a lot of New York Giants fearing that there personal lives are about to be exposed. And truthfully, this kind of news is depressing. Wait a minute. Maybe that means this WILL be a tell-all expose. Hmm... |

| Re: Tiki's Tell-All Book Quote:
The reason he will write about the bad stuff instead of the good is that most people dont want to read the good stuff. Of course, it will be a tell all book. That might not be a bad thing. What are you afraid of finding out guys??? |

| Re: Tiki's Tell-All Book What's there to "tell all" about? How Tiki fumbled before Coughlin came to town? He's not going to trash his former teammates if that's what you're talking about Bette. If it's a book about his experiences in the sport then by all means....but a "tell all?" |

| Re: Tiki's Tell-All Book Well, I'm sure there are stories in every NFL locker room that the people involved would rather not ever reach the public's ears. And Bette, no one wants to read the good stuff? I love some of the old books by guys who talk about some of their more colorful misadventures without doing a hatchet job on anyone, and I see the tone of Tiki's book more closely resembling a gossip column than an old timer sitting around, drinking beer and spinning yarns. I'd much rather read the latter than the former.

And guess my mind was running into entirely different directions than the rest of you. I dont want to see a hatchet job on his teammates either. I wasnt thinking so much about stories about individuals as stories about the league. I keep thinking about the league's macho attitude and the death of Corey Stringer |

| I have no sympathy for Tom Coughlin if he takes the majority of Barber's criticism...He is such a miserable person. I have no sympathy for people like that, whoever it may be...Barry Bonds, Coughlin, John Rocker, whomever... |
