I guess from a talent standpoint, it is an alright counter to losing Tiki, but I don't like the move.
The Giants have enough divas on their roster, in my mind. With all the locker room banter that gets shoveled to the media day after day during the season, bringing in McGahee would only add fuel to the fire. They should be looking to bring in blue collar, team-oriented players and not more prima donnas.
It's being reported, however, that the Giants are unwilling to give up a first day pick. The are not going to land McGahee without surrendering at least a third. I'm not even a huge fan of McGahee and I would pay/demand more than that.
