Giants Rallying Together It appears if you listen/read interviews of the Giants from today that the backdrop is the dislike towards the media for trying to shake up their locker room. Well, everyone but Plaxico pretty much said that. Anyway, Antonio Pierce was very vocal towards the media for what he perceived as trying to stir up something between teammates. Pierce said, "I want to thank you guys again for causing all of the disruption on our team. You all did this last time when we were 1-2 and good things came out of it. So keep writing negative things and keep trying to make guys bicker on our team....but we’re not angry at one another. We’re angry at all of you guys and we thank you for that. We’re not angry at one another. (Michael) Strahan and Plax(ico Burress) kissed this morning. It was a beautiful thing. They made up, and everyone knows each other around here again." Also, Brandon Jacobs was also pretty forceful when he said the media hasn't done anything to them as far as the team's relationships with one another. It looks like this team is ready to rally together and prove to the world they're not the dogs and malcontents everyone thinks they are. This game on Sunday is going to be great!

Re: Giants Rallying Together They can rally whatever. Eli is gonna miss 55% of his passes. The defense will give up big plays and the dumb, needless penalties will be there in spades. As Vince McMahon once said, "You can't shine sh**!"

| Re: Giants Rallying Together Nobody went on Strahan's radio show and impersonated him, calling Burress out for being the dog that he is. Nobody kidnapped Tiki last week and put an identical double in his place to cry he didn't get enough carries. Imagine if the Giants win this week, and nobody from the media came into interview any of these jackasses? How would they respond to that? This is the common response in many sports nowadays, espeically football, when there is discord, it's the media creating it. I could never live long enough to care who likes who as long as the team I root for goes out and plays well, and I don't need Strahan to tell me that Burress is a lazy slob on the filed. I can see that for myself. I can also see who wants to be out there and who doesn't.

Re: Giants Rallying Together If I were the Giants i'd worry less about the media and more about the Cowboys. You want to show attitude and guarantees than show it in practice and preparation not in the newspaper. Guarantees in the Daily News mean to me about as much as a warm jar of monkey urine. Just win today that's the most important thing.

Re: Giants Rallying Together I get a kick out of watching Coughlin on the sidelines. I hope no one ever takes his blood pressure cuz it would have to be 200/120 minimum. The guys and I call him Casket Face..........but I like the guy.

Re: Giants Rallying Together I guess what I like about casket face is that he is such a hard ass. I'm tired of these overpaid babies crying to the media and being untouchable. I know it is a generational thing with me but I'd love to see, for example, Plaxico benched after her lolligagged it on the pass play last week. But it ain't gonna happen.
