Good News for G-Men Re: Injuries

Although the Giants will play Sunday's pivotal division game without a number of starters, some are possibly ready to return to the field. From Giants.com:

-DE Osi Umenyiora says his hip flexor is feeling good and he's ready to get back on the field. As of today, he's listed as questionable. He's expected to start on Sunday.

-CB Sam Madison has been out for the past couple of weeks with a strained hammy. He's listed as questionable and could play.

-OLB Brandon Short has practed for the last two weeks and says he's ready to play.

-DE Michael Strahan participated in individual drills for the first time recently but isn't expected to play Sunday.

-CB Corey Webster is day-to-day (and questionable) with turf toe and MLB Antonio Pierce is probable with knee swelling. Pierce is expected to start.

Other names appearing on the injury list include OLB Carlos Emmons (questionable), S Gibril Wilson (questionable) and WR Sinorice Moss (questionable).

Re: Good News for G-Men Re: Injuries

More good news to talk about from today's practice. Only three Giants did not participate in practice. LT Luke Pettigout (out), DE Michael Strahan and CB Corey Webster. Strahan is listed as doubtful and Webster is questionable...looks like he won't play.

Brandon Short, Sam Madison and Osi Umenyiora all practiced and are likely to play Sunday.
