The news out today is that Michael Strahan is expected to miss about a month's worth of football games due to a strained foot.

Osi Umenyiora may return this week against Detroit. Justin Tuck might, too. Mathias Kiwanuka, rookie defensive end will remain in the starting line-up.

The Daily News reports that Strahan might be out for the season. Strahan himself said he had a similair foot injury as a rookie and he missed 8 weeks because of it, I wonder 14 years later 14 days away from his 35th birthday if the injury will be slower to heal. Umenyiora returning is essential and Kiwanuka has shined in his time on the field so all is not lost.
