Re: Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ New York Giants I've heard my fair share of Bucs fans cry for the past few years about their bad offensive line. Now I rarely get to watch them play so I'm going on their word. But with a rookie QB in Gradkowski, I'm expecting another monster day from the Giants as far as sacks go. Ronde Barber scares me a bit because he's always a threat to take one and run it back the distance. Hopefully Eli keeps his composure which I have no doubts he wont. Another good game from Tiki is expected, of course. And to think this game and the one with Houston next week or the week after are praised as the "easy" games on the Giants schedule this year.

Re: Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ New York Giants It's been all but confirmed that Osi Umenyiora and Justin Tuck will not play today. Mathias Kiwanuka will start on the opposite end of Strahan. It will be the rookie's first pro start. Also something to look out for, the swirling winds. I've read the winds are expected to be around 30 mph at Giants Stadium so expect both teams to try to establish the run early and often.

Re: Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ New York Giants I feel an upset coming in this one. First off it's windy as all get out in the meadowlands usually and today is like multiplied by 10 so that will affect passing and special teams play. Lot of turnovers in this one and the team with the most opportune defense wins and I get a feeling it's gonna be the Bucaneers unfortunately.

Re: Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ New York Giants The Giants are about to win, beating the Bucs 17-3. The Giants defense was dominating although rookie QB Bradkowski didn't do much and his receivers let him down big time. Cadillac Williams was almost non-existant as well. Eli hit Plaxico early in the game for the touchdown then Brandon Jacobs got another goal line score. Feely piled on a field goal and the Giants are looking at pulling away from the rest of the division. Something that should be noted though, the Bucs defense effectively shut the Giants down in the second half. I don't know if it was helped in part due to the elements (fierce winds) but hopefully there's no carry over to next week.

| Re: Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ New York Giants I just love watching Brandon Jacobs with the ball. So far he has proven he deserves his spot. My question is do you guys think he is a 20-30 carry a day back. or do they need to go after a guy like garret wolfe to split the carries up??

Re: Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ New York Giants I think they need another guy. In this day and age it's almost a 2 runningback league as it stands. As great Jacobs is he gets no more than 20 carries for a full game and they need another back for the rest of the carries necessary for Giant football.
