Impact Or Lack Of Impact: LaVar Arrington

I'm not sure what the Giants gave up for Arrington but it seems too much whatever it was. This guy has been nothing short of invisible through the first couple of games. Never mind having any sacks, this guy barely has any tackles!! Is it the new team, new defensive coach...I don't know i'm reaching here! Or is it that Arrington has had too many injuries over the years and is nothing more than an average player at best?

What do you mean "gave up for him"? They signed him as a free agent.

He surely hasn't been the LaVar that was talked of being one of the best LBers in the game, but I kind of expected that. As long as he can just be some sort of prescence on the field and stay healthy, he should be fine.

I don't know, Trashed. The guy wound up on the Redskins bench a few times for not playing within the defensive scheme. I haven't seen enough Giants tape this season to know, but maybe he's uncoachable, constantly out of position? It sure seems as though his stock has fallen fast over the past few years, and at first we all seemed willing to write it off and Washington misusing him. Now, I'm not so sure.

Sorry Empire, I meant moneywise but it did sound like I meant a trade I should have been more specific. Lefty might be right to the point that Arrington just might not care enough to study the defensive game plans so that leads to his ineffectiveness. So far he's been a dud.
