Giants Take Falcons/Vick To Task in W

The Giants defeated the Falcons thanks to some dominating performances by Tiki Barber and the Giants defense. In total, Michael Vick was sacked 7 times and had trouble finding any mojo in the second half. Give credit to Warrick Dunn who was able to successfully run on the Giants but after the lead was lost, Dunn's running ability wasn't helping the Falcons much.

Eli Manning threw two touchdown passes, both to Jeremy Shockey. It was the Shockster's first multi-touchdown game.

This is a great win for the Giants, especially considering both Philly and Washington lost. Now the Giants are in second place (and 2-0 in the division) and will battle the Cowboys on Monday Night Football next week.

Yeah it might cause me a GTG Fantasy loss against you Empire...I went with Vick and Eli/Shockey get 4 TDs...Good luck with it...though you are a receiver short...still you are a class act for resolving my blunder with the Bears Defense...see if you can pick up a receiver

The tough teams keep lining up and the Giants are starting to come together and defeat them. Eli wins on the road, great win for Big Blue!

Michael Vick is the most overrated athlete in the sports world-period. he makes A-Rod look like George Brett. When are they going to sit him and put in an actual quarterback?

Well the thing is his style is not that detrimental to the team so I doubt they'd sit him yet. Yesterday he made some throws that could have changed the outcome of the game but his recievers dropped the ball several times. As much as i'm a Vick-cynic that's not his fault.
