Yahoo! Sports says Shockey has undergone tests on his right ankle yesterday and will have more done later today. Early tests show no bone fracture so that's good.

Shockey has been playing on a bum ankle leading back from the pre-season. It looks like it all caught up to him on Sunday against Washington when he left the game early.

Hopefully, it's nothing major and some rest will be all that's needed.

Shockey underwent a third straight day of testing Tuesday and nothing was found to be wrong, the Giants said.

The soreness in Shockey's foot and ankle and his ability to practice will be assessed on a day-to-day basis in preparation for Sunday's game in Atlanta.

I've never seen Jeremy Shockey NOT injured. I mean if he is supposed to be the next Winslow ore Bavaro he needs to be healthy. I give him credit for his blocking and his courage staying on the field while hurt but when is this guy ever gonna be 100% so we can see his full potential?

All the Giants need is his prescence on the field and it makes defenses have to cover him.

Yup, and his blocking skills are definitely gonna be needed against the Falcons defense. Gonna be a fun game to watch sunday.
