Giants Limit No-Huddle Offense

It seems everyone is calling for an increased role of the no-huddle offense for the Giants. It's been successful when used and Eli Manning has led the team on a few scoring drives early in the year. However, don't expect the coaching staff to make more use of it because they don't want to take away carries from Tiki Barber and Brandon Jacobs.

Says Newsday, "The Giants are tied for third in the NFL with a 5.0 yards-per-rush average."

The Giants come off their week 4 bye to welcome the division rival Washington Redskins to the Meadowlands.

Ha! Im not erasing someone's post like I usually do. Sorry, rookie mod joke! Anyway I agree with the coaching staff on this one. The Giants have to be a run first team and that will set up the pass more successfully for Eli and company. It worked with the '90s Cowboy team with Emmitt setting up Aikman and Irvin and it's a classic almost necessary formula. Look at how much better Tom Brady did last night when Maroney broke out and showed the talent I knew he had.
